I was pretty much a chicken with my head cut off the first few weeks of Sept.
Alexis was married Sept 3 and Amy Sept 10th, I did the flowers and photography for both weddings.
Alexis colors were Salmon and Turquoise, which are not very common in flowers so I had to get a little creative with some of hers.
Also, I was TRYING to pose like Miss America in this picture, mm k, don't judge.
I have to do a small shout out to Tug during all of the flowers because he was a HUGE support
and didn't complain about our mess of a kitchen once.
Not to mention he delivered endless Mt Dews and take-out. Best. Boyfriend.
This arch style was a first for me but I think it worked out ok,
I am used to a grid pattern to wire to on an arch but this was flat steel.
It was a beautiful wedding and I was happy to be apart of it.
Love my family
Amy colors were purple and yellow, which were much easier to match and we had a lot more options.
.
Maz deserves a shout out too, he was a trooper through mommy madness too. I love my boys.
This is my favorite flower by far, the hydrangea I am holding in this picture is 1 stem! I have never seen them bloom this big before. Amazing. |
Notice my sweater cloak, the house was FREEZING for 2 weeks straight,
we had to keep it cool for the flowers to stay fresh.
Maz let me curl his hair for the wedding, I love the curls and freckles together.
He is such a beautiful little boy. Not to mention thee worldest snuggliest.
This wedding was fun and I am happy Amy asked me to participate.
I asked tug to take a picture of me and maz together because I didn't get any of us at Alexis wedding, he did so good. I love this picture even though Maz was not holding still.
The week following was dance corsages and bouts. My house smells so good!
These were just a few, I would love to own my own shop one day.
So pretty, seriously!
