Valentines day

So for Valentines day I thought the best way to show Mazor how much I love him was

to show him what a "love tap" really was.

NOT.
Look at this sad beaten babys little face. I accidentally smacked him in the face with the door handle the day before Valentines as we were playing a chase me game.

I seriously still feel so horrible.

I took Mazor and Tug to "Marvel Universe" for our Valentine date night.

At school Mazors class had a Valentine exchange and he made this cute little heart guy, which he was supposed to give to me but he was not having that.

Valentines day I made Mazor deliver flowers to all of the grandmas

and also to his cute little neighbor friend Rosie.

after church we decided to spend the night at the ranch and even though it was freezing,

it was so fun to warm up by the fire and watch movies and play games,

and thanks to Karli we had these cute Valentines cookies to snack on all night.

The ranch has such a special place for me in my heart so spending

time there on a day to celebrate someone you love felt perfect.

Sweethearts drive-in slumber party

At the store to get our supplies for the party when Mazor discovered his size carts soooo...

already we were totally off to a GREAT start for this party.

I made them all put on red lipstick and kiss white balloons for my game.

Whoever gave the most kisses won the game. Emma prevailed.

Why are Mazors pants always falling off..Grr..

Tugs game was dog-pile on Tug. By the time I got my camera the only one left was Emma and apparently she was doing the splits the whole time.

Our drive in was a total success (for about 15 min) Not everyone wanted to sit in their cardboard car, apparently couches are more comfy. I don't get it.

The next morning we had a Valentines exchange with donuts and squeezies but I guess I was done with pictures by then because I have zero to show of it.

Zoo Art show

This year at the zoo show was extra fun because little miss Emma made it in too!

Her elephant was the BIGGEST hit there.

I might be exaggerating but the girl has got game in the arts.

My two monkeys made it in too, which was really exciting because they normally just accept 1 of mine each year. Mr Ape also gets to go on tour this year with Hogle Zoo art show.

I am extremely grateful for the people who put their hard work and efforts into putting art shows and call of entries out for little artists like me.

It motivates me to paint, then boosts my self confidence to keep creating new pieces.

On a side note, I tried to enter Maz in show too but sadly his Lion was just too great to be accepted into this show. How does the saying go...some birds wings are just too beautiful to be caged...

Disneyland with the Caywoods 2016

Our first day in California was the beach, and could easily (for me) be the best day.

I LOVE to be in the ocean and in the sand. Mazor is just like me.

We did a 3 day hopper at Disney, (thanks to Tugs sister)

Maz is seriously not afraid of rides at all, but for some reason he kept wanting to lean forward on

Splash Mountain, so I felt it was duty and responsibility as his mother

to force him to sit up and endure the fear that is the drop.

I know he will thank me one day.

Tugs family has a tradition to do a character breakfast each time they come.

This time we went to Minnies kitchen.

Love these monkeys.

On our last day we stopped at what might be the most amazing park on the planet.

It had a cement fighter jet (most similar to F16 in my opinion) that you could climb in and on.

I might of made that up.. one day he will love jets the way I do.

I had to share this last one of the park, if you were to cut out his hair, I would have never guessed this was Mazor had I not taken the picture myself, not just for the extreme flexibility shown, but because the kid in this photo wearing Mazor wig looks way too grown up to be my son.
