Mirror Lake

We had a fun time camping at Mirror lake last week!
The weather was perfect and it felt amazing to be in the mountains again.

Tug brought his Grandpas spring bar tent, that has more meaning to me now then ever.
(SIDE NOTE: I was looking through some old scrapbooks of Tugs family and this tent goes all the way back to when his mom was little, seriously! I saw her standing in front of it about Mazors age, so it is very special that we get to use it like we do.)

We spent most of the time down at the lake, which was about 15 steps from our campsite (I may or may not be exaggerating a bit).
For the most part we didn't have any luck until Tug did his "Fish Whisper" and was on fire.
The first second he cast in he reeled one in, it was so fun.

Maz would get so excited (notice his jazz hands) every time Tug would catch a fish, and he was cute to let him reel it in almost every time.

A little off subject, but if you are trying to potty train a kid, take him to the lake.
Mazor seriously peed every 3-5 min. and most of the time it was all by himself.
It was almost embarrassing because he would just suddenly say, "I gotta go potty" then whip his pants down and go! He didn't care who saw his little peter.
I think we may have scared off a few tourists.

Maz singin the baby blues on potty trainin. Ain't it rough kid.

On the way to Mirror we stopped at the ranch to get firewood. Some of the family were there hunting so we invited whoever to come fish at Mirror the next day if they wanted.
and looked who actually showed up! It was awesome and a total surprise.

I had so much fun with my family and I love these two more than anything.
