Looking back

Its amazing to me how fast time has been going. Its hard to believe that 2014 is already over. Maz and I had an incredible year together and he has given me some of the sweetest memories I will treasure for the rest of my life.
Ever since I became this little boys mommy New Years always makes me feel kind of sad. Mazor is growing up so fast, he is so smart too, he picks up on things I don't even realize I am doing. I worry I am not doing the best I can for him, I worry I am not spending enough time with him, and wishing I had more time to spend watching him grow. I find myself holding on to the littlest of moments I have with him with everything I have.
I am so grateful for the time I have with my son.

2014 was a big year for my little photo business and I found myself overwhelmed, exhausted, and even drained at times, but I really wouldn't have changed any of it. I love being a photographer and hope that my love for it will only grow bigger and better. (along with my business)
It was also a very busy year for me and Tug. We traveled A LOT this year and rarely had a weekend where we were not busy doing something.
I am so grateful to have found Tug and love the relationship we are building together. I love the way he treats Mazor and I know Mazor loves him very much. He is an amazing example for him and I hope he continues to teach Mazor new things.

A few of my favorite moments of 2014 include;

-Surfing on the beach and watching the waves in Costa Rica
-Waking up early in Yellowstone to look for animals with Mazor & Tug
-Watching Tug teach Mazor to fish
-Tea and Rocking chairs
-Summer nights at the ranch with my family
-Seeing Maz light up at Disneyland.
-Tugs valentines dinner for me
-Seeing the flowers at the Market in Seattle
-Meeting so many different kinds of people for photography
-White water rafting in the freezing rain
-Listening to Maz play with his toys (he is seriously so funny)
-Christmas morning orange juice with Mazor

There were so many fun memories of 2014. I am looking forward to what 2015 will bring.

  1. It's just going to get more fun, but I do agree time needs to slow down a little
